Faculty of Business and Economics serves society through Department of Management, Accounting, and Economics Development that all are credited with A Class by National Accreditation Board of Indonesia (BAN-PT). We have a strong collaboration with many reputable Universities in Asia, Europe, America, and Australia, where our students and lecturers can explore and examine the knowledge and technology under program of Students Exchange, Dual Degree, Lecturer Exchange, Research Collaboration, and Institution Development. Faculty of Business and Economics is also supported by Centre of Economics and Business Development that offers industry client services in training & consulting and research & publication.

International Class Faculty of Business and Economics, Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (UAJY) traces its roots in 1999 by started opened an Undergraduate Management Program for students who interested to study Management with English as the medium of instruction. The Undergraduate Management Program was finally changed into International Business Management Program (IBMP). 
After run for several years, in 2007, international class opened program for the Accounting field with name. International Financial Accounting Program (IFAP). On 2019, some studies was conducted to enhance the major for Accounting to open more options beside Financial Accounting. 
International class is under the Department of Management and Department of Accounting Faculty of Business and Economics design with the same curriculum and accredited as A according to BAN PT. This program conducted in English as the medium of instruction.
