History
International Class – Faculty of Business and Economics, Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (UAJY)
The International Class at the Faculty of Business and Economics, Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (UAJY), was established in 1999 with the launch of the Undergraduate Management Program. This program was designed for students interested in studying Management using English as the medium of instruction. It was later renamed the International Business Management Program (IBMP).
In 2007, the International Class expanded to include the field of Accounting with the introduction of the International Financial Accounting Program (IFAP). In 2019, studies were conducted to broaden the Accounting major and provide students with more options beyond Financial Accounting. As a result, the program was renamed the International Undergraduate Program in Business Accounting (IUPBA).
The International Class operates under the Department of Management and the Department of Accounting. It follows the same curriculum as the regular programs and has been awarded the “Akreditasi Unggul” (Excellent Accreditation) by BAN-PT. All courses are delivered in English.
