International Financial Accounting Program (IFAP)

IFAP has been designed for the students seeking careers as professional accountants in multinational companies. The program aims to provide opportunities for the students to acquire skills and knowledge in presenting financial statements. Emphasis is placed on consolidated financial reports for a group of companies or multinational companies. Elective units offered by this program are: International Accounting Reporting. International Financial Management, Risk Management, and, Global Capital Market. To equip students with one of necessary skills for communicating in a global business context. Mandarin language is also offered as an elective unit in the three elective courses. Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta has a strong link with the Rotterdam Business School (RBS) in Rotterdam, the Netherland. Our International Class program has been hosting students from RBS under an exchange scheme. This feature gives an international cultural mix as well as networking opportunities to the students in our program. Opportunities also exist from these students to study in RBS and take some of its courses there. Another international experience is provided to students through an overseas study visit program. This program is held on a regular basis and aimed at widening global perspectives of students. Under the program, students are invited to visit companies as well as universities in foreign countries to help the students gain insights into the real life of such institutions.
